About Nautilus RF
Nautilus RF’s purpose is to provide in-building signal enhancement solutions for Public Safety and Cellular communications.
Florida Building Code requires builders to use dense building materials like solid concrete exterior walls and Low-E windows. These building materials prevent the tower’s radio frequencies from entering the building which creates dead-spots where users cannot communicate.
Nautilus RF specializes in the design and implementation of in-building wireless systems known as Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDAs) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). Our solutions take the signal from the nearest radio/cell tower and enhance it throughout the building to provide coverage to its users inside.

Florida Statute 633.202
Florida Statute 633.202 and Florida Fire Prevention Code (NFPA 1) state that all new and existing buildings must have adequate radio signal strength for fire department and public safety communications. All buildings will be required to meet minimum radio strength requirements by 2022, and existing apartment buildings have until 2025. Existing structures that do not meet the minimum signal strength for fire department communications must apply for an appropriate permit for the required installation with the local government agency having jurisdiction and must demonstrate that the building will become compliant by December 31st, 2019.
